April 21 - April 25 is Scholastic Book Fair Week. Students are able to shop during their library times. Families can also come shop from 5:00 - 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 22.


Next week is Spirit Week! Every day there's a different theme.
Monday 4/21 Spring Into Spirit Week: Wear your brightest colors to kick off spirit week.
Tuesday 4/22 Tropical Beach Day: Wear your summer wear, beach hat and/or sunglasses all day long! No bathing suits or flip flops please.
Wednesday 4/23 Team Jersey Day: Wear your favorite sports team apparel!
Thursday 4/24 Make up your own Superhero Day: Dress up as a superhero of your creation.
Friday 4/25 Color Day: Each grade level wears a different color. Pre K: Purple, K: Blue, 1st: Green, 2nd: Yellow, 3rd: Orange and 4th: Red


Our next Parent Engagement meeting is on Friday, April 19th from 8:00 - 9:00 am in the library. This is open to all Bakersville parents to learn about the happenings in our school, brainstorm ideas and ways to help out. We look forward to seeing you!

In person incoming Kindergarten Registration is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16th from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and 12:45 pm - 2:30 pm in the Bakersville Library. This is for students that will be five on or before September 30, 2025. Registration can also be completed online and can be found on our schools website's homepage for the link.

Program flyer: The Southern NH Skating Club is hosting Learn to Skate – ice skating lessons for figure or hockey skaters – Saturdays starting on Jan. 4. at the Ice Den or Sundays starting Jan. 5 at JFK Coliseum. Find full information and register online at www.SNHSC.com.


Program flyer: Manchester Parks and Recreation hosts weekly Saturday basketball shoot around at Beech Street School through March 15. This is a free, drop-in program. No sign-up is needed.
Times are broken down by school level: elementary school from 9-11 am; middle school from 11:30 am-1:30 pm; high school from 2-4 pm.


Program flyer: Sign-ups are open for the 2025 Clem Lemire Hockey Tournament. The tournament takes place in the spring at the JFK and West Side Arenas. Students can compete in one of two divisions: elementary school (grades 3-5) and middle school (grades 6-8).
The early bird fee to compete is $40 if received before 12/31/24. After, the fee increases to $60. Payments must be mailed to or dropped at the DPW at 475 Valley Street Manchester. Checks must be made out to City of Manchester.

Pre-K Pajama Day
Thursday 12/19: Work Out Day - Wear your best workout gear to celebrate all of your hard work this year.
Friday 12/20: Pajama Day - Wear your favorite pajamas to school . Please wear sneakers or real shoes to school please. It's also an early release day for K-4. Dismissal is at 11:15 am. No school for Pre-K.

Program flyer: Hooksett Youth Lacrosse spring registration is now open.
Programs include intro to lacrosse for kindergarten-aged students and recreational lacrosse for students in Grades 1-8.

Reminder: Elementary schools ONLY will be dismissed early at 11:15 am this Friday, November 8, for parent-teacher conferences. There is no pre-kindergarten on Friday.
All other grades will have a normal school day. There is no school the following Monday, November 11, for the Veterans Day holiday.


Program flyer: Saint Anselm College's Meelia Center for Community Engagement will host its 33rd annual Children's Holiday Fair from 11 am-2 pm on Saturday, November 23 at the Carr Center, Saint Anselm College.

Program flyer: This Sunday, Oct. 27, from 1-3:30 pm, Memorial High's S.A.L.T. (Student Athlete Leadership Team) is hosting a free trunk-or-treat event at the high school.
The event is free and open to all. Come join the fun and enjoy the fall weather – we'll see you there!


Please join us on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 6:00 - 7:00 pm for our Title 1 Monster Math Night at Bakersville School. Come and explore the wonders of Math with your children and enjoy an exciting evening of monster themed hands-on learning activities, games, snacks and a chance to win a raffle prize. We can't wait to see you there! All students need to be accompanied by an adult.
