About Me: This is my fifth year as Principal at Bakersville and my 19th year in Manchester as an educator. I absolutely LOVE our Bakersville School community! When I am not working I love to exercise, be outdoors, play games, listen to music, read, spend time with family/friends and travel. Most especially, I love to spend time with my three children, my fiancé, and our golden retriever.

Jo-Ann Mulligan, Speech and Language Specialist

About Me: I have been married to my husband Bob for 35 years. Our family includes our two grown children, Emily and Michael and their partners, John and Victoria. We adopted an 8 year old beagle named Buddy a year ago and he immediately claimed every soft chair and sofa in the house! When I’m not walking Buddy I love to read science fiction (especially when it involves time travel), sew and put puzzles together. I first came to the Manchester School District in 1992 as a Speech & Language Specialist at the preschool and I was hooked! I love working with preschool children and never get tired of the funny, serious and very thoughtful things that they say.

My favorite Book: I read my first chapter book in second grade. It was a biography about Helen Keller. I remember being so engrossed in the story that I got special permission to stay in at recess time all by myself to finish it. To this day, Helen Keller is one of my heroes, but not just because she learned to communicate as a person who is both deaf and blind. As an adult she advocated for people with disabilities and for women's rights. Also, she loved her dogs.

About Me: I live in Bedford, NH with my husband and three children Tommy, Cameron and Ellie. We also have two rescue dogs ,Nova and Bella. We love to spend most of our time outside or at our family campground in Tamworth, NH during camping season. We also like to take family bike rides on fun trails all throughout NH. About Me: I'm a teacher with years of experience in multiple districts, states, and grade levels. I love foxes and will tell my students why that is, once the year begins. I am a father of 2 elementary age girls and try to find, like with my students, ways to make moments of every day a teachable moment. I love trying new recipes. I love technology and using it to improve productivity. I believe every student can succeed if they apply themselves, listen to their teachers and parents, and take risks and opportunities to learn something new.

I was born on an air force base in New Mexico, grew up in west Texas, and then later in life moved to New England. I'm thousands of miles away from my hometown and it's amazing when I run into people who know my hometown. It's such a small world and always amazing to meet people who know the people you know, or the places you know, when you're so far away from that.

About Me: Hi! My name is Miss. Marchand and I grew up in Manchester, NH. I graduated from Saint Anselm College in 2016 and earned my B.A in Elementary Education. This is my 2nd year teaching. About Me: I enjoy spending time with my family. We work together in our family restaurant and like to travel back home to visit family in Mexico and Italy every summer when we can. I came to Manchester with very little English and attended public schools here so I know first hand how difficult it is for a student to adjust to a new school and language. I also have seen first hand the difficulties and concerns parents face when coming to a new country and learning a new language. I look forward to and enjoy helping families whose English is not their first language.

About Me: I am often seen walking to school, or in the Calef Rd neighborhood walking with my dog. I live in a house that my great grandparents built. My dad now owns it. I love to read out in the yard, reading during the summer. I grew up near by to where I live now. I come from a very small family. I only have one sister who lives in a small town near here. My mom lives close by too, I often walk to her apartment to check in with her.

On Tuesdays I can be found walking the homeless dogs, at the Manchester Animal Shelter. I adopted my dog Savannah from there. The shelter does have some programs to help pet owners with spay/neutering. If you have any questions about the programs, please ask me, and I will help if I can.

I have two adult sons and a newly adopted adult cat, Peanut. Peanut is a very lovable cat and loves to sit next to us a lot. Brendan lives with me. Ryan just graduated from medical school and currently is a resident doctor in North Carolina. He has also recently adopted a kitten to keep him company, his name is Nerf.

About Me: Hello, my name is Eileen Kelleher or "Ms. K" as my students have always called me. I was born and raised in a small town just north of Boston, MA. This will be my 4th year as an Educator. I graduated from The University of Alabama in 2017 and spent my first 3 years teaching kindergarten in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, but it was time to come "home" (to New England). I have 3 older siblings; 2 sisters and a brother - I also have 2 nephews and 2 nieces. I love spending time with my family and close friends. I have a cat named Oreo. My favorite food is pizza. About Me: Hello :) Here is just a little about me! I am a huge Patriots fan, but I also enjoy watching the Celtics and the Bruins. Sitting by the ocean or a lake makes my heart happy and brings me peace. I love spending time with my family and friends. I also absolutely love hot weather, winter in NH is definitely not for me. My boyfriend and I have five children between us! Our oldest is a sophomore in college, we also have two sophomores in high school, an eighth grader, a fourth grader and two cats! About Me: I'm excited to begin my 2nd year as the Title I Reading Supervisor at Bakersville Elementary School. Before making the move to Bakersville, I was a 2nd grade teacher for 6 years in a private school in Nashua and a Title I Reading Teacher for 4 years in a public school in Salem. I received my Bachelor's in Elementary Education at Keene State College. I received both my master's in Literacy Learning and Language and my Reading Specialist license at Lesley University. I know this school year will be unlike any other, but we are all in this together and together we will make this a fun year full of learning and new experiences!

In my spare time I love to swim! I am a swim instructor and have been teaching children and adults how to swim for 17 years. I am also an avid reader. My goal is to instill the love of reading in the students I work with.
